Roz SMS Program Terms

These terms cover text messages sent by Roz, a TopStep product operated by Top Step Technology, LLC, to people who use Roz and opt in to text notifications.

Who receives texts

Roz texts only people who have a Roz account and opt in: TopStep employees, TopStep subcontractors, and staff of TopStep's existing customers. We don't text consumers, and we never text anyone who hasn't opted in.

Program

Roz sends SMS notifications about your own tickets and the apps you use. Messages may include:

  • a new ticket assigned to you
  • a new answer on one of your tickets
  • a ticket marked complete
  • a new release note for an app you use
  • a one-time code to confirm your mobile number

We do not send marketing or promotional messages through this program.

How you opt in

Text notifications are off until you turn them on yourself, inside your signed-in Roz account:

  1. Open your notification preferences in Roz, enter your mobile number, and tick the box agreeing to receive text notifications. The box is never ticked for you.
  2. Enter the 6-digit code we text you, to confirm the number is yours.
  3. Choose which notifications you want by text.

How text notifications are turned on in Roz's notification preferences. They stay off until you tick the box and confirm your number.

Text notifications are optional. You can still use Roz and get notifications by email or in the app without them.

Message frequency and cost

Message frequency varies with your ticket and release activity. Message and data rates may apply.

Help and opting out

  • Reply HELP to any message for help, or send us a message through our contact form.
  • Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. We'll send one message confirming you've opted out, and then no more.
  • You can also turn text notifications off at any time in your Roz notification preferences.

To start receiving texts again, reply START, or turn text notifications back on in Roz.

Privacy

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is used only to send the messages described here. See our Privacy Policy for more.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
