These terms cover text messages sent by Top Step Services, operated by Top Step Technology, LLC, to subcontractors who opt in through the Top Step Services portal.
Program
Top Step Services sends SMS notifications about a subcontractor's account and work orders. Messages may include:
- work order awards
- schedule or date changes
- job site details
- other work order and account updates
- a one-time code to confirm your mobile number
We do not send marketing or promotional messages through this program.
How you opt in
You opt in in two steps:
- Agree to receive SMS notifications in your subcontractor agreement.
- Turn on the SMS notification preference inside your logged-in Top Step Services portal, and confirm your mobile number with the code we text you.
SMS notifications are optional. You can still use the portal and receive updates by email or in the app without them.
Message frequency and cost
Message frequency varies based on work activity. Message and data rates may apply.
Help and opting out
- Reply HELP to any message for help, or send us a message through our contact form.
- Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. We'll send one message confirming you've opted out, and then no more.
- You can also turn SMS notifications off at any time in your portal notification settings.
To start receiving messages again, turn the SMS preference back on in the portal.
Privacy
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is used only to send the messages described here. See our Privacy Policy for more.
Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
