Required Fields Skipped by a Custom Submit Button in Quickbase? Enforce Them With a Custom Data Rule
A Submit button that runs API_EditRecord never sees the form's required fields. Move the rule to the table with a custom data rule that only fires at submit time, and use the right blank check, because in testing IsNull() on an empty text field came back false.
